Cover: The image illustrates how the transcription factor FOXO1 promotes cancer cell proliferation and survival under oxidative stress. By upregulating G6PD expression, FOXO1 activates the pentose phosphate pathway, leading to increased NADPH and ribose 5-P production, which bolsters antioxidant defense and nucleotide biosynthesis. The visual highlights the central role of the FOXO1–G6PD axis in metabolic reprogramming and redox homeostasis of cancer cells. See mjaf021 by Zhang et al. for details.
