Cover: Activation of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway upregulates the expression level of its transcriptional target AKAP6, which promotes PKA-mediated phosphorylation of RyR2 and thus induces sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium dysregulation in cardiomyocytes, ultimately leading to cardiac dysfunction with characteristic pathological remodeling, such as hypertrophy and fibrosis.
