Cover: miR-5003-3p promotes EMT by acting in a dual manner: Snail stabilization by targeting of MDM2 and direct targeting of E-cadherin. This dual mechanism and the mutual negative loop between Snail and E-cadherin can amplify the cellular response towards EMT and metastasis, highlighting a high potential of miR-5003-3p as a future target for anti-metastasis therapy. The background shows the metastatic foci in the lung from the mouse injected with miR-5003-3p-transfected cells by H&E staining. See pages 372–383 by Kwak et al. for details.
