Cover: System-level analysis of the cardiac signaling network suggests mechanism-based therapeutic strategies for heart failure. The reconstructed cardiac signaling network consists of 141 nodes and 274 links; 212 links are activation links (red pointed arrows) and 62 links are inhibition links (blue blunted arrows). Of the 141 nodes, there are 17 input nodes and 15 output nodes. Nodes that are involved in two or more signaling pathways according to the KEGG classification are highlighted with multiple colors that represent the corresponding pathways. See pages 180–194 by Park et al. for details.
